Men are more likely to tell lies than women

Men are more likely to tell lies than women and feel less guilty about it, says a survey.

In a poll of 3,000 people, researchers found that the average British man tells three lies every day, that's equivalent to 1,092 a year.

However the average woman appears more honest, lying 728 times a year--around twice a day.

Mums are the people mostly likely to be lied to, says the Science Museum who commissioned the survey.

Twenty-five per cent of men say they've lied to their mother, but only 20% of women admit to having lied to their mum.

In comparison, only 10% of people said they are likely to lie to their partner.

Concerning the kind of lies we tell, men said that they most often lie to their partner about their drinking habits. "I didn't have that much to drink" is men's most popular fib.

Whereas women use the line, "Nothing's wrong, I'm fine" most often to hide their true feelings.

Women are most likely to feel guilty after telling a lie. Eighty-two per cent say it eats away at their conscience, compared to just 70% of men.

Is there such a thing as an acceptable lie? Eighty-four per cent of people think there is. Three quarters of those surveyed believe it's alright to fib if it's to save someone's feelings.

When it comes to the quality of the lie, 55% of Brits think women are the better liars, even though they tell fewer lies.

I could do it, and I mean these lines are getting deeper every day, but when I tell you what’s happened to me – these lines are just about living.

Just look at the features in men’s magazines. They’re often much meatier than the fare you find in women’s magazines. What does that tell you? That guys aren’t afraid to spend an hour reading a great piece of writing.

I remember when I started doing my hair myself – I cut bangs, and I started curling my hair and pressing it, literally, with an iron. The girls from Destiny’s Child, we would put our hair on the ironing board, and iron it, which is so crazy!

Life's a cafeteria here

A friend’s grandfather came to America from Eastern Europe。

After settling down at Ellis Island。

he went into a cafeteria in lower Manhattan to get something to eat。

He sat down at an empty table and waited for someone to take his order。

Of course nobody did。

Finally, a woman with a tray full of food sat down opposite him。

and informed him how a cafeteria worked。

"Start out at that end," she said. "Just go along the line and pick out what you want. At the other end they’ll tell you how much you have to pay."

"I soon learned that's how everything works in America," the grandfather told a friend。

"Life's a cafeteria here。

You can get anything you want。

as long as you are willing to pay the price。

You can even get success。

but you'll never get it if you wait for someone to bring it to you。

You have to get up and get it yourself."

Never forget

Never forget

Your presence is a gift to the world.

You're unique and one of a kind.

Your life can be what you want it to be

Take it one day at a time.

Focus on your blessings, not your troubles.

And you'll make it through what comes along.

Have belief in your ability.

Persist, have courage, be strong.

Nothing wastes more energy than worrying.

The longer a problem is carried,

the heavier it gets.

Don't take things too seriously.

Live a life of serenity, not a life of regrets.

Don't put limits on yourself.

Your dreams are waiting to be realized.

Don't waste time making excuses.

Reach for your peak, your goal!

The Furthest Distance in the World--Tagore

The furthest distance in the world

Is not between life and death

But when I stand in front of you

Yet you don't know that I love you

The furthest distance in the world

Is not when I stand in front of you
Yet you can't see my love

But when undoubtedly knowing the love from both

Yet cannot be together

The furthest distance in the world
Is not being apart while being in love

But when plainly can not resist the yearning

Yet pretending you have never been in my heart

The furthest distance in world

Is not but using one's different heart

To dig an uncrossable river
For the one who loves you

Will you take the annual leave or change it into cash?

For me,I will reply without any hesitation that I prefer more annual leave than change it into cash. I never have such kind of thought of changing my annual leave into cash,no matter how much it can be changed,I won't consider it----of course ,if it can be changed into cash more than millions,if I can have the chance to become a millionaire,ah it is worth careful consideration, and at that moment I will reply you without any hesitation once again“i will change it into cash“ nobody will push money out of their pocket.
Actually it is a personal choice whetehr they want to have their annual vacation or change it into cash, it depends on personal likes, maybe sometimes it is not only because of money, maybe they just want to spend it on work, maybe they have nowhere to celebrate their long vacation . But no matter what kind of choice they choose, i guess they will all celebrate it freely and happily for me , i think the holiday we can have is quite shorter, can't compare with those we had when we were students in school.
So if we have our valuable annual vacation, I really hope i can enjoy it very much and i can even plan to have a short trip somewhere i'd like it is really a good choice.

I don't think changing it into cash is a wise decision,we person have a lot of time to make money, it is no need for us to sacrifice our golden holiday to make money once again, we still have to give ourselves holiday to enjoy our life .

Of course the best way is we can enjoy our daily life everyday, just make everyday spend like a holiday , i guess maybe annual vacation won't weigh too much.

Comparison : The work efficiency between China and India

As the competition grows up,work efficiency has come to become a popular word over the past decades. It is beyond doubt that the high work efficiency of employees does play an important role in increasing profits and reducing costs of enterprise, enabling the enterprise to go on a benign circle of development to some extent.

However, sometimes I have been thinking of a question how to see the relation between work efficiency and overtime working. Some people think that overtime work is not necessary and even considered as a behaviour of incapability because the overtime work means low work efficiency. But some others think that overtime worki is for finishing work better, which is a responsible attitude.

In any case,a lot of people living in cities in China are working on a tight schedule, who have to increase their work efficiency so that they could make better use of every minute and do more work.Of course, overtime working is not new in order to have a good future in the job title and make more money to live a life with high quality.

As to work efficiency in India,I have to say that theirs is much less than ours, which may be the reason why they have greatly lagged behind us in economy aspect over the past twenty years. Let us take two things for examples, for one thing,it was said that the army didn't arrived at site until after nine hours since the Daj Maha hotel next to India gate in Mumbai was attacked last year.

For another, enjoying tea at around 10:00am in morning and at around 4:00pm afternoon respectively has become a habit for every one, which seems to be not interrupted no matter what happens. As a result, the construction workers start stopping working at 9:30am and 3:30pm respectively and wait for tea. Therefore, one hour at least will be wasted for one day.

Perhaps it is due to the fact that those construction workers find it more profitable to work overtime after normal working hours. Therefore, they cannot concentrate on their work in the daytime.Undoubtedly, their work efficiency is really very low.And meanwhile,a lot of work would be done in the process of civil construction by hands instead of machines.

In any case,we ourself as well as our enterprise itself will benefit from our high work efficiency.

Aha!

Just because someone doesn‘t love you the way you want them to, doesn‘t mean they don‘t love you with all they have.
To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.
Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile.
Only few people know that life is beautiful for lacking something. The so-called turning-around is that you not only miss the sun in day time but also the stars at night.

Ideal smiles

Dentists and researchers have come up with the formula for the perfect smile, from the size and width of each tooth to the curve, colour and shape of the teeth, and the overall width of the smile.

Those pursuing perfection are advised to hide their gums, hold back on the bleach, cover the bottom teeth and set their lips at just the right angle."Everyone wants the perfect smile and Jessica Simpson is the one we get asked to reproduce the most," says Dr Nicholas Davis of Loma Linda University School of Dentistry.

According to the report, colour is important, and too many are now bleached too white. Dr Davis said: "The teeth should be the same colour as the whites of your eyes. If the teeth are too white, they become more dominant than the eyes."There are strict mathematical ratios governing the ideal smile, says Dr Davis. Its width should be no less than half the of the face at the same height and, for the best effect, both upper and lower lips need to be symmetrical each side of the mid-line of the face.

Nothing gets thrown away

These days, Ann Fitzpatrick, director of the personal-shopping team at the Saks Fifth Avenue store in Beverly Hills, cleans out her closet with surgical precision.

Thirteen years ago, before she moved into a home with smaller closets, Ms. Fitzpatrick purged her wardrobe of pieces she no longer needed, including dated dresses from Paris that she still loved but had stopped wearing.

She has regretted the loss ever since. 'I am still pining for those pieces I let go that are not replaceable,' says Ms. Fitzpatrick, who spent many years helping clients shop and weed through their closets and now oversees the service. 'I wake up in the middle of the night sweating.'

As a result, Ms. Fitzpatrick now makes sure to hold onto beloved pieces that are in good shape, even if she no longer wears them or they're out of date. She has learned, she says, that alterations can easily update looks.

She changes buttons on old cardigans and jackets to create a more modern look and has hemlines taken down or up as the style dictates; on one Calvin Klein skirt, she has let the hem out twice. (When shortening, leave your hems wide for the future, she notes.) If she has a hole in a cashmere sweater, she often looks for an artisan who can reweave it. And she wishes she had tweaked the big shoulders on one of her Parisian dresses instead of giving it away.

Avoiding large purges, she weeds through her wardrobe every season, getting rid of items such as shoes with worn-out toes or chipped heels (shoemakers can't do their magic on them), sweaters that can't be rewoven, cotton shirts worn down by starch and trousers that have been dry-cleaned so much they shine or can't be adjusted to the right length. She also weeds out items that don't fit or have colors she no longer likes.

She'll let her two daughters have first pick of the cast-offs and then will give the rest to charities. Nothing gets thrown away. 'I believe that there has got to be a home for any of the things I've owned,' Ms. Fitzpatrick says.

As for restocking, Ms. Fitzpatrick says she's always replenishing her supply of cotton shirts, and at least annually, she'll buy more investment pieces that serve as the core of her wardrobe (such as a perfect black dress, skirts, blouses, trousers and handbags), and she uses new accessories to refresh them. For instance, she recently bought a Giambattista Valli jacket with a more-structured shoulder, a new look that she thinks will have some staying power.

By adding a belt, putting a great necklace on or dropping a vest over it, you can change that core piece to have a little different look,' she says.

Hope and trust

1.Hope and trust is the tail of a lizard, which can reproduce even after being cut off.

2.To lost in something you love is better than to win in something you hate.

3. One is always on a strange road, watching strange scenery and listening to strange music. Then one day, you will find that the things you try hard to forget are already gone.

4. Happiness is not about being immortal nor having food or rights in one's hand. It’s about having each tiny wish come true, or having something to eat when you are hungry or having someone's love when you need love.

5. Love is a lamp, while friendship is the shadow. When the lamp is off, you will find the shadow everywhere. Friend is who can give you strength at last.

6.I love you not for who you are, but for who I am before you.

7.Love makes man grow up or sink down.

8. If you can hold something up and put it down, it is called weight-lifting; if you can hold something up but can never put it down, it's called burden-bearing. Pitifully, most of people are bearing heavy burdens when they are in love.

9.Most of people are looking forward the crystal-like love—pure without any defect. However the truth is most people are having the glass-like love-same transparent but easily broken.

10. We all live in the past. We take a minute to know someone, one hour to like someone, and one day to love someone, but the whole life to forget someone.

11. One may fall in love with many people during the lifetime. When you finally get your own happiness, you will understand the previous sadness is kind of treasure, which makes you better to hold and cherish the people you love.

12.During the whole life, you will regret for two things: one is that you don’t get the one you love and the other is the one you love is not happy.

13. To live in a world without you is more painful than any punishment. Do you know that no one can replace you in my heart?

14.Your birth gives me hope and I hope to give you happiness.

15. I hide my storm-like love in my heart just not to give you any pressure. The more precious my love is, the more I cherish the love from others.

16.If you love a girl, it's better to fight for her happiness than to abandon her for the sake of her happiness.

17.The more you want to know whether you have forgotten something, the better you remember; I once heard that, the only thing you can do when you no longer have something is not to forget.

18.To love someone in secret is like a seed in bottle waiting for growing up, though not sure whether the future will be more beautiful, still waiting it earnestly and eagerly.

19.The reason why girls consider flowers as the most valuable gift among other gifts is that men have to overcome the shyness of holding the flowers in streets before sending them to girls.

20. I am alive only when I am with you. When I am alone, the most dazzling sun seems to have lost the brilliance.

21. I never let you not to know my existence, but I just never thought that love will fall upon on my head. Sometimes, I just wonder, we are from different waters, although I admire your world, I will be drowned if I get close to you.

22. When someone abandons you, it is him that gets loss because he lost someone who truly loves him but you just lost one who doesn't love you.

23. How it feels when you are loved by the one you love? How could it be like? If you want to answer it immediately, you shall know how happy you are. Although you insist loving on your own is also called love, one palm can not make noises.

24. When you are young, you may want several love experiences. But as time goes on, you will realize that if you really love someone, the whole life will not be enough. You need time to know, to forgive and to love. All this needs a very big mind.

25. What's the accomplishment of love? If marriage is the accomplishment, how about divorce? When I begin to love someone, it is the accomplishment of love.

26. People are used to born in the stars. They just temporarily live in the star which is called the earth. Therefore, everyone has a star-like heart. The life is limited, but they still shine with their smiles and love.

27. The love world is big, which can hold hundreds of disappointments; the love world is small which is crowded even with three people inside. The love world is big, it still has space for more happiness; the love world is small which will be ruined after one tread.

No title

Sorrow is hushed into peace in my heart like the evening among the silent trees.

The mighty desert pursues the love of a bladeof grass who shakes her head and laughs and flies away.

The wise never marry, And when they marry they become otherwise.

Stray birds of summer come to my window to sing and fly away.and yellow leaves of autumn, which have no songs, flutter and fall there with a sign.

Don‘t cry because it is over, smile because it happened.

Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.

Rainbow Roses

According to Daily Mail on May 31, the multi-coloured flowers, known as rainbow roses or happy roses, are the latest thing in quirky gifts. They start life as cream roses, but the heads take on hues from various food dyes placed in their water one at a time and sucked up the stems. We know the process takes between 12 and 24 hours, but how the different petals turn out different colours. remains a trade secret. However, they do not come cheap. One stem costs £24.49 and a dozen £64.87.

How are you?

1、Do you have a quarter? Because I promised I would call my mom as soon as I fell in love.

2、It's awful hot in here, or it is you?

3、If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put U and I together.

4、Do you have a map? Because I just keep losting in your eyes!

5、If you are a tear in my eye, I wouldn't cry for fear of losing you.

6、My love for you is like diarrhea, I just can't hold it.

7、I am a thief, I am here to steal your heart.

9、I seem to have lost my phone number. Can I have yours?

8、
A. How are you?
B: Fine.
A: I didn't ask you how you looked, I asked you how are you.

Love and Hurt

I don't know how to love you.

Looking at you is the only way i konw.

Don't let the person that loves you cry heartbrokenly.

There is only one chance that you can hurt them so deep.

After that, you can go from " the irreplaceable one " to " the interchangeable one. "

Even if they still love you, there is something.

I had a flat tire yesterday

I drove to work as usual yesterday, and at the end of the day, I left my office right before the number of the digital clock on my desktop turned to 5:00PM. As most of us, I was eager to be home then. I pulled my car out of the garage, and soon I was on my way home.

Everything was normal for the first 10 minutes. Then, I started hearing a rattling noise, which was louder and louder. I was also able to feel that the running of the car was not smooth anymore, and it seemed something was wrong with the passenger side rear tire. The first thought came to me was I got a flat tire. Oh, my god! The thought scared me. I knew it was dangerous to keep driving on a flat tire. I needed to stop as soon as possible. I slowed down and slowly pulled the car off the way and stopped over the right shoulder. I carefully opened the door, got out of the car, and started checking all the four tires. There was nothing wrong with the two tires on the driver side. Then I walked around the car to check the other two on the passenger side. Oh, if I was blind, I could not see the rear tire was flat. How could that happen? I took a close look at the tire, and found that the tire got a puncture with a small piece of sharp metal. The metal piece was still on the tire. I took it off and threw it, not on the way, into my car. I would not like one more car got puncture.

I took a deep breath and let me calm down. I quickly searched every corner of my brain to find a solution. There were three possible options for me. First, I had a membership of AAA, an I could call them for road service. Also I knew it would take them at least one hour to be on the scene and towed my car to a nearest auto service station. But I had to pick up my daughter at summer camp before 6:00. It was already 5:15. I couldn’t wait. Second, I changed the flat tire with a spare tire by myself. I did have a spare tire in the trunk, but I didn’t have a jack, and most important, I was not strong enough to do that physical work. No way! The last choice, took risk, and kept driving on the flat tire. It seemed that was the only choice to me. Fortunately, it was not too far from here to an auto service station that I knew. After making my decision, I got in the car and drove to the service station. Usually I drive at 40 miles per hour on that way, but yesterday I had to slow down and drove at around 20 miles. In order to alert other drivers, I turned the emergency vehicle lights on. 30 minutes later, I arrived at the service station. I left the car with them after telling them what happened to it and also finishing some paperwork. I was told that the car would be ready for me the next morning.

The staffs at the service station were nice, and one of them called a cab for me. It was already 5:45PM then. But I was still safe. Usually, depending on the traffic it takes me 10-15 minutes to get to the summer camp from the station. The cab driver was a black gentleman at his 50s, who had a good sense of humor, and of course was nice too. He was also familiar with the traffic around. Only 10 minutes later, we were already at the front door of the building, where the summer camp was held. The jokes told by the taxi driver made my day!

After paid the cab fee and tips, I rushed into the building to get my daughter. The summer camp was pretty close to my house, so my daughter and I could walk home. Good chance to burn more calories!

Free to Soar

One windy spring day, I observed young people having fun using the wind to fly their kites. Multicolored creations of varying shapes and sizes filled the skies like beautiful birds darting and dancing. As the strong winds gusted against the kites, a string kept them in check.

Instead of blowing away with the wind, they arose against it to achieve great heights. They shook and pulled, but the restraining string and the cumbersome tail kept them in tow, facing upward and against the wind. As the kites struggled and trembled against the string, they seemed to say, "Let me go! Let me go! I want to be free!" They soared beautifully even as they fought the restriction of the string. Finally, one of the kites succeeded in breaking loose. "Free at last," it seemed to say. "Free to fly with the wind."

Yet freedom from restraint simply put it at the mercy of an unsympathetic breeze. It fluttered ungracefully to the ground and landed in a tangled mass of weeds and string against a dead bush. "Free at last" free to lie powerless in the dirt, to be blown helplessly along the ground, and to lodge lifeless against the first obstruction.

Let us each rise to the great heights, recognizing that some of the restraints that we may chafe under are actually the steadying force that helps us ascend and achieve.

Angelina Jolie VS Queen of the Nile

Angelina Jolie is to star in a new film about the life of the queen of the Nile, adapted from the forthcoming biography, Cleopatra: A Life, by Pulitzer prize-winner Stacy Schiff. The book isn't published until the autumn, but producer Scott Rudin has already secured the rights, with Jolie pencilled in as the lead. "The movie is being developed for and with Jolie," said a spokesperson for Rudin.

Schiff has endorsed the casting, and given the nod to the possibility of Jolie's real-life partner, Brad Pitt, playing Mark Antony, in what would be an echo of the 1963 film Cleopatra, starring Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Joseph L Mankiewicz's blockbuster set the record for the most expensive film ever shot at the time, with a final budget of $44m.

The story of Cleopatra has also been the subject of at least a dozen other films, including four silent movies (in 1910, 1912, 1913 and 1917), a 1920 cartoon, a 1934 Cecil B DeMille romance, and productions from Brazil, Czechoslovakia and Egypt itself.

Work and Life

When work is a pleasure , life is joy !
When work is duty ,life is slavery .

Deranged actor Mel Gibson may have caught himself a break!

Deranged actor Mel Gibson may have caught himself a break!

According to TMZ, Oksana Grigorieva recorded all of the conversations between her and Mel without his knowledge. This could really change the direction of this case because in California live recordings are not admissible in court if the person being recorded isn’t told they’re being recorded. However an exception can be made if the recordings are believed to have only been made to prove Mel’s violent behavior.

But this isn’t even the big issue…

Oksana is also said to have sent out several text messages in which she stated the reason she recorded the conversations was because Mel didn’t keep his part of the deal to support her. Mel’s legal team will be using this in an attempt to prove Grigorieva is nothing but a “money hungry whore!”

C Ronaldo is from a playboy to be the father

When Cristiano Ronaldo first announced he was the father of a child and would be raising it alone, it certainly raised a few eyebrows. Sure there were some whispers, but no one had any reason not to believe that he had paid a surrogate to have the child and stay quiet.
That may not be the case. Many are now speculating that the mother of his son, also named Cristiano, is actually an American waitress. His pick up line, perhaps one of the worst in seduction history, was “Me, you, make love.”

She didn’t bite right then so he upped his game. He drew a heart on a misted window and said “Me, you, kiss!” and she melted. How romantic?

They went back to the hotel and had a one night stand that resulted in her pregnancy, reports the Daily Mirror. His mother supervised the paternity deal to bring the baby back to Portugal.

A friend said: “Ronni is a multi-millionaire playboy, but when it comes to family, he’s very much his mother’s son. They are a close-knit, traditional Roman Catholic family and the minute paternity was established there was absolutely no doubt that Ronni would be doing the right thing. There was simply no question of him walking away. Even if he had wanted to, Dolores just would not have entertained it for one moment. This is her grandchild and there was only one option for the child’s upbringing – with her and her daughters in Portugal.”

Cristiano gave the woman $15.1 million for exclusive guardianship and for her silence. But there was another reason. His mother did not want the mother of her grandchild living in poverty. “Dolores’s view is that if the child eventually decides to make contact with the mother, it is important she is living an affluent lifestyle. It would offend Dolores for the child to find his mother living in poverty. It’s a huge amount of money, but Ronni insists it’s not a big deal because he’s worth £100million and he’s got the best part of his career ahead of him still.”

Remember Me

Gandhi said that whatever you do in life will be insignificant,
but it's very important that you do it because nobody else will.
Like when someone comes into your life and half of you says: "You're nowhere near ready".
And the other half says: "Make her yours forever".

Michael, Caroline asked me what would I say if I knew you could hear me.
I said: "I do know."

"I love you."
"God, I miss you."
"And I forgive you. "

Skin Care in Summer

Sunburn and Dry Skin

There are several ways to prevent sunburn, such as staying inside during the worst heat of the day, apply sunscreen liberally (at least a one-ounce shot-glasssize amount) before you go outside, reapply every two hours and always after swimming, and wearing clothing that keeps sensitive skin covered when in the sun(No need to cover up head to toe, but do consider a long-sleeved shirt, wide-brimmed hat, and sunglasses at the beach, at least for part of the day).

Staying hydrated will help with itching and drying skin as well as keeping lotion and moisturizers on the skin, so be sure to drink plenty of water and slather moisturizers so your skin can drink too.

Insect Bites and Stings

When you and/or your children and/or pets come inside from a vacation jaunt or just from spending time in the park, be sure to check your body for signs of bites and research the proper treatment for bites. Bee stings are known for allergic reaction while tick bites can spread some serious illnesses you should be prepared to watch for and know when there is cause for concern.

Using insect repellant, preferably the type that doesn’t have to absorb into the skin and can be sprayed on clothing (if it kills or repels insect, just imagine what those chemicals are doing to your body), can help prevent some bites.

Beach and Water Hazards

If you’re on vacation around the beach or a lake or other bodies of water, you’re going to have hazards that won’t be common in the park. Some of these hazards include: jelly fish stings, stingray stings, and other biting, stinging or leeching animals.

You should also be careful to never walk barefoot on a beach or around the shores of a body of water. Buried under the sand or pebbles can be sharp rocks, broken glass, pieces of broken shell or other hard items that can cut your feet or ankles.

Poisonous Plants

Familiarize yourself with the look of plants like poison ivy, poison sumac, poison oak, and others. Also be familiar with things like cactus and other plants that can stab or poke or jab you and leave marks and scrapes on the skin.

Heat Rash

Heat rash can be itchy, painful and very uncomfortable, but it is completely preventable! Stay inside during the peak sun hours, use plenty of antiperspirant where necessary, and use a soft talcum or corn starch powder to keep skin dry and prevent rubbing and chaffing. Get treatment at the first sign of unexplained rash.

Rosacea

This common skin condition can be exacerbated by heat, causing your face to swell, get red, and break out in little pimples. If you’re prone to rosacea, seek refuge in air-conditioning, wear lightweight, loose-fitting clothes, and keep cool by taking cold showers, misting yourself with a spray bottle, and drinking plenty of cold water.

Keeping skin safe and healthy during the summer or on your vacation is not hard to do, but we tend to get so caught up in our fun activities we forget to take the necessary precautions. It might seem mundane to worry about sunscreen and repellants and learning about plants, but if you don’t, trust me, the time spent treating these skin hazard conditions and the pain and suffering from them will ruin your fun!

If you take care of your skin and skin hazards this summer or on your vacation, you’ll have a lot more fun and more time to enjoy your fun. Have a great summer!

Octopus Paul took a 100 percent prediction record

While bookmakers are using a scientific approach to calculate the odds at the World Cup in South Africa, a member of the animal kingdom proved he only needs shellfish for a 100 percent prediction record.

Octopus Paul seems to have taken a liking to the German flag after he successfully foretold the team's four outcomes in this year’s tournament.

Two plastic boxes, one with a German flag and one with their opponent's, are lowered into Paul's tank at Sea Life, each with a tasty morsel of food inside. The box which Paul opens first is adjudged to be his predicted winner.

Now he has picked Germany to win again, this time over Argentina, in their quarter final match on Saturday.

Paul has become a star attraction at the Sea Life Aquarium in the German city of Oberhausen, and his predictions are closely monitored by the media.

Aquarium spokeswoman said Paul took about an hour before he made his latest choice, which could mean it will be tough for both teams in the quarter final.
It looks like a good thing for German football fans.

There are plenty people that don’t believe this, but Paul is two for two so far.

He foresaw the German trouncing of Australia on June 13. A few days later — bucking the bookies — he called Serbia’s upset over Germany.

Let’s not forget about the other football-prognosticating animals, like Petty, a pygmy hippo at the Chemnitz Zoo who picked Germany to beat Serbia, or Leon, a porcupine — also in Chemnitz — who liked Australia. The Chemnitz staff turns to a new animal for each game, and their latest consultant, Anton the tamarin monkey, has chosen a morsel of fruit in favor of Ghana.

Given the nature of their prognostications, the animals have trouble calling a tie. But such trifles haven’t slowed down Paul. According to Sea Life staff, the octopus notched an 80 percent record of forecasts during his last assignment — the UEFA European Championship tournament in 2008.

A friend is a present

A friend is a present you give yourself

As soon as you trust yourself you will know how to live

Happiness is a form of courage
We are all in favor of this plan

Nothing seek nothing find

It is man‘s mission to learn to understand
